- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Rub the brisket with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- Place the brisket in a roasting pan, fat side up.
- Mix beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, then pour around the brisket in the pan.
- Cover tightly with foil and roast for about 4 hours, or until tender.
- Remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes to develop a crust.
- Let the brisket rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
