Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and increase the heat slightly. Bring to a simmer, stirring frequently.
- Slowly add the grated Parmesan cheese while stirring until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and nutmeg if desired.
