Description

Delicious brown butter chocolate chip cookies with a rich flavor and chewy texture.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until it turns golden.
  3. In a large bowl, mix brown butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fold in chocolate chips.
  8. Drop tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
  10. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For chewier cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
