Description

A delicious and healthy alternative to traditional pizza, made with a cauliflower crust.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium cauliflower
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, etc.)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rice the cauliflower using a food processor.
  3. Steam the riced cauliflower for about 5 minutes.
  4. Let it cool and then wring out excess moisture using a towel.
  5. In a bowl, combine cauliflower, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet in the shape of a pizza crust.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
  8. Add pizza sauce and toppings, then return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes.
  9. Slice and serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust baking time for thickness of the crust.
  • Use parchment paper for easier cleanup.
