  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 2 bay leaves

Instructions

  2. Add garlic, thyme, smoked paprika, and sauté for another minute.
  3. Stir in the soaked beans and vegetable broth; bring to a boil.
  4. Add the bay leaves and rice; reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until the rice and beans are tender.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper before serving.
