A comforting dish featuring tender chicken in a creamy sauce served with rich mashed potatoes.
Ingredients

- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook chicken over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer until the sauce thickens.
- Meanwhile, boil potatoes in a large pot until tender. Drain and return to the pot.
- Add butter and milk to the potatoes and mash until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the creamy chicken over mashed potatoes and garnish with parsley.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add your favorite herbs to the chicken sauce.
- You can substitute half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
