- 1 box white cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1 (3 oz) package of strawberry gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 (8 oz) container of whipped topping
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the white cake mix according to package instructions, using water and eggs.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once baked, allow the cake to cool for 15 minutes.
- In a small bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water, then add the cold water.
- Poke holes in the cooled cake with a fork and pour the gelatin mixture over it.
- Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours to allow the gelatin to set.
- Spread the whipped topping over the set gelatin and decorate with sliced strawberries and sprinkles.
- Cut into squares and serve.
