- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 8 ounces lasagna noodles, broken
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef, onion, and garlic; sauté until the beef is browned.
- Pour in the chicken broth, crushed tomatoes, and Italian seasoning; bring to a boil.
- Add the broken lasagna noodles and cook until al dente.
- Stir in the heavy cream, ricotta cheese, and mozzarella until melted and creamy.
- Add spinach and cook until wilted. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, garnished with Parmesan cheese.
Notes
- For an added kick, sprinkle with red pepper flakes before serving.
