Description

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Heat milk and butter until warm, then add to the dry ingredients.
  3. Add eggs and mix until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes and let it rise for 10 minutes.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter, and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
  7. Place rolls in a baking dish and let them rise for another 20 minutes.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes.
  9. Optional: frost with cream cheese icing.
