- 12 ounces rigatoni
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the Italian sausage, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce and bring to a simmer. Add oregano and red pepper flakes.
- In a large bowl, mix together rigatoni, sausage mixture, and all cheeses until well combined.
- Transfer to a baking dish and top with additional cheese if desired.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
- For a spicier dish, add more red pepper flakes.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
