Description
A deliciously creamy and cheesy Brussels sprouts au gratin, infused with garlic for an extra kick.
Ingredients

- 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (such as Gruyere or Cheddar)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add Brussels sprouts and cook for 5–7 minutes or until they begin to soften.
- In a separate bowl, mix heavy cream, cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Combine Brussels sprouts with the cream mixture and pour into a baking dish.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Notes
- Add additional cheese on top for extra cheesiness.
- Can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
