Description
A hearty and flavorful chili made with ground turkey and a blend of spices.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, and sauté until softened.
- Add ground turkey to the pot and cook until browned.
- Stir in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, and chicken broth. Stir to combine.
- Bring to a simmer, cover, and reduce heat to low. Cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra heat, add diced jalapeños or chili flakes.
- This chili can be made a day ahead and tastes even better the next day.
