Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package croissant dough
  • 8 ounces sliced ham
  • 8 ounces sliced cheese (such as Swiss or cheddar)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the croissant dough and cut it into triangles.
  3. Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each triangle.
  4. Roll the triangles from the wide end to the point, forming croissants.
  5. Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the croissants.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

  • For a crispy texture, allow the croissants to cool on a wire rack after baking.
  • You can add other ingredients like mustard or herbs for extra flavor.
