Description

Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes are creamy, smooth, and quick to prepare with the help of your pressure cooker.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds russet potatoes
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks.
  2. Add the potatoes and chicken broth to the Instant Pot.
  3. Close the lid and set the valve to sealing. Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
  4. Quick-release the pressure and open the lid.
  5. Drain any excess liquid and add the butter, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Mash the potatoes until smooth and creamy.
  7. Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve warm.
