Description

This KitchenAid Pizza Dough Recipe results in a delicious, homemade pizza crust that is easy to make using your KitchenAid mixer.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


Instructions

  1. In the bowl of your KitchenAid mixer, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add the warm water and olive oil.
  3. Using the dough hook, mix on low speed until the dough starts to come together.
  4. Increase to medium speed and knead for about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Once kneaded, shape the dough into a ball and place it in a greased bowl.
  6. Cover with a cloth and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  7. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) and shape the risen dough on a floured surface.
  8. Transfer to a pizza pan or stone, add your favorite toppings, and bake for about 12-15 minutes.
