- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In the bowl of your KitchenAid mixer, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
- Add the warm water and olive oil.
- Using the dough hook, mix on low speed until the dough starts to come together.
- Increase to medium speed and knead for about 5-7 minutes.
- Once kneaded, shape the dough into a ball and place it in a greased bowl.
- Cover with a cloth and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) and shape the risen dough on a floured surface.
- Transfer to a pizza pan or stone, add your favorite toppings, and bake for about 12-15 minutes.
Notes
- Make sure your water is warm, not hot, to activate the yeast without killing it.
- This dough can be made ahead of time and refrigerated for up to 3 days.
