Description

A classic dish featuring sweet corn in a rich, custardy pudding.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh corn kernels (or frozen)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, sugar, and melted butter.
  3. Add the cornmeal, salt, and baking powder; mix until smooth.
  4. Fold in the corn kernels.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
