This no knead cheddar jalapeño bread is a deliciously cheesy and slightly spicy bread that’s incredibly easy to make.

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1.5 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1.5 cups water
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 jalapeño, diced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, and yeast.
- Add the water and stir until a wet dough forms.
- Fold in the cheddar and jalapeño.
- Cover and let rise for 12 to 18 hours at room temperature.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and place a Dutch oven inside to heat up.
- Shape the dough and let it rise for another hour.
- Carefully transfer the dough into the hot Dutch oven and cover it.
- Bake for 30 minutes covered, then uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Let the bread cool before slicing for better texture.
- This bread can be served warm with butter.
- Feel free to add more spices for extra flavor!
