Description

A delicious upside-down caramelized peach tart that is perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 6 ripe peaches
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt butter and add sugar to create a caramel.
  3. Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits, then place them cut-side down in the skillet.
  4. Cook until the peaches are softened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add vanilla extract and salt.
  6. Cover the peaches with puff pastry, tucking it around the edges.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.
  8. Invert the tart onto a plate and serve warm.
