A delicious upside-down caramelized peach tart that is perfect for any occasion.

- 6 ripe peaches
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, melt butter and add sugar to create a caramel.
- Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits, then place them cut-side down in the skillet.
- Cook until the peaches are softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add vanilla extract and salt.
- Cover the peaches with puff pastry, tucking it around the edges.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.
- Invert the tart onto a plate and serve warm.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream or ice cream for added indulgence.
- Can substitute peaches with apples or other stone fruits.
