Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring

  • 1 cup white chocolate chunks


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg, red food coloring, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the white chocolate chunks.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set and the tops are slightly puffed.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
