Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 cup lettuce
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/4 cup pickles
Instructions
- Preheat the grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix together ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Form the mixture into 4 evenly sized patties.
- Cook the patties on the grill or skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Place a slice of cheese on each patty about one minute before they are done cooking.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for about 30 seconds.
- Assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato, and pickles.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!

- For added flavor, consider marinating the beef for a few hours.
