Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, and baking soda.
- In another bowl, whisk together applesauce, almond milk, vanilla, and eggs.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
- Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
- Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before serving.
