Description

A delicious and hearty slow cooker beef chili made with refried beans, perfect for a cozy meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) refried beans
  • 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped


Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the ground beef to the slow cooker along with refried beans, diced tomatoes, kidney beans, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, beef broth, and bell pepper.
  3. Stir to combine all ingredients.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a spicier chili, add diced jalapeños or hot sauce.
  • Serve with shredded cheese and sour cream on top.
