- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) refried beans
- 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add the ground beef to the slow cooker along with refried beans, diced tomatoes, kidney beans, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, beef broth, and bell pepper.
- Stir to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- For a spicier chili, add diced jalapeños or hot sauce.
- Serve with shredded cheese and sour cream on top.
