A delicious and easy slow cooker recipe featuring tender beef with a sweet and savory pineapple sauce.

- 2 pounds flank steak, sliced thinly
- 1 cup pineapple chunks, fresh or canned
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
- Place flank steak and pineapple chunks in the slow cooker.
- Pour the sauce over the beef and pineapple, making sure everything is well coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the beef is tender.
- Before serving, mix cornstarch with a little water to create a slurry, and add to the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
- Serve over rice and garnish with chopped green onions.
