Description

This Slow Cooker Pepper Steak is a comforting dish that cooks itself, filled with tender beef and colorful peppers.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds flank steak, sliced against the grain
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 cups bell peppers, sliced (red, green, and yellow)
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water


Instructions

  1. Place the flank steak in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix the beef broth, soy sauce, garlic powder, and ground ginger. Pour over the steak.
  3. Add bell peppers and onion to the slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-6 hours.
  5. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, combine cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then stir into the slow cooker.
  6. Serve over rice or noodles.
