Description

A delicious and spicy sushi rice bowl topped with fresh salmon.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sushi rice
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 4 ounces fresh salmon, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds


Instructions

  1. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Combine the rinsed rice and water in a rice cooker and cook according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  3. While the rice is cooking, mix mayonnaise, sriracha, and soy sauce in a bowl.
  4. Once the rice is done, let it cool slightly. Serve the rice in bowls.
  5. Top the rice with sliced salmon, avocado, and drizzle with the spicy mayo sauce.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier option, increase the amount of sriracha in the sauce.
  • This recipe can be adjusted by adding other toppings such as cucumber or seaweed.
