A quick and flavorful teriyaki steak rice bowl packed with vegetables that tastes better than your favorite takeout!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound flank steak
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic powder, and ginger powder.
  2. Marinate the flank steak in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Cook the marinated steak on a grill or pan over medium-high heat until desired doneness.
  4. In the same pan, stir-fry the broccoli and bell peppers until tender.
  5. Slice the steak and serve it over cooked rice with the stir-fried vegetables.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions.
