Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, and baking soda.
- In another bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop small spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cookies are set.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, sprinkle a little sea salt on top of the cookies before baking.
- Store in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
