Description

Deliciously tiny cookies with a perfect balance of saltiness and chocolatey goodness.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, and baking soda.
  3. In another bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop small spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cookies are set.
  9. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, sprinkle a little sea salt on top of the cookies before baking.
  • Store in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
